Geoff O'Driscoll is the Managing partner of the firm. Admitted as a solicitor
in 1981, he became a partner just two years later.
Prior to assuming his current management position, he practiced primarily in the
commercial field. His practice was one of the largest commercial practices in Central
Queensland, with a strong focus on shopping centre leasing, mortgages and security
documentation.
Geoff is well known in legal and business circles for his commonsense and 'down-to-earth'
attitude to the law, and his almost obsessive belief in immediate follow-up. He
has instilled this philosophy throughout the firm in his time as Managing Partner.
He has held his current position for over 15 years and has an intimate knowledge
as to how a law firm should operate to achieve maximum efficiency and to provide
the best legal product to its clients.
Over the past 10 years Geoff has been a regular presenter to the profession at National
and State legal conferences on the topic of Time, File and Client management systems.
By virtue of the firm’s involvement in a group of collegiate law firms throughout
Australia and New Zealand known as Law Australasia, Geoff is able to keep up to
date with best legal practice.
He has been actively involved in the Central Queensland Law Association for many
years, both as a past president and chairman of several committees. His personal
interests include family, fishing and a wide range of sports.
