George has been looking after the rights of workers injured in industrial accidents
for more than 20 years. He has an intimate knowledge of the law relating to workplace
injuries. He combines this knowledge with a friendly down to earth attitude and
a willingness to guide you through the legal maze.
Although he has litigation experience in most industrial areas, he has particular
skills in mining claim and actions by workers injured in the health sector.
His approach to personal injury matters is to ensure that the client achieves the
best possible outcome in the shortest time period. Clients value his ability to
put them at ease by explaining complicated concepts in everyday language.
If required he will travel to see a client anywhere in Queensland. He believes in
building a personal relationship with clients based on trust.
George is not afraid to take on the hard cases that other lawyers and firms have
walked away from.
His success as a personal injury specialist is in part due to his secondary area
of practice - commercial litigation. Commercial litigation requires that a lawyer
be extremely well organised. Transferred to personal injury claims, this focus on
organisation and efficiency ensures that each matter moves at a faster pace than
would normally be expected.
George’s accreditation as a Personal Injury specialist with the Queensland Law Society
ensures that the legal skills applied in your case are of the highest level.
He also believes in putting something back into the legal profession. He has been
a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance since 1999 and a past president of Central
Queensland Law Association.
George is actively involved in committees that promote and advance the professional
development of lawyers in Queensland. (Personal Injuries Specialist Accreditation
Committee of Queensland Law Society 2008 - 2010. He has been a member on the Queensland
Law Society Continuing Professional Development (CPD) since 2005.)
